About Me

Picture of Trent

Trent Sartain

Senior Software Engineer - Master's Degree Student at Georgia Tech

I've been coding for a long time. I got my first computer at the age of 6 and was coding (with help from a patient neighbor) by the time I was 8.

To me, architecting a piece of software is like maintaining a well tended yard. At the end of the day, I can sit back, have a drink and admire it. I can be proud of it. However when tomorrow comes, you'd best believe that I'll be right back at it. Making it better. Making it more beautiful.

If that is too hippy-dippy for you, just know that I love to write code. I love to write GOOD code.

I have two bachelor's degrees, one of which is a Computer Science degree and I'm currently working on my Master's in Computer Science at Georgia Tech with a focus on Interactive Intelligence.

Besides coding, I love reading, travel and travel photography, drawing, discovering new music, mechanical keyboards (that's my desk at the top of this page), working on cars and lifting heavy things.
